I got a little lucky today and stopped by one of my LFS and picked up a group of ropes.

Two male and two female, added to my existing male and female.

The smallest are 9", the largest one is 10". These are the yellow fin kind, means they have more color on their bellies, and greener dorsal.

Check em' out:

They all have gold finlets, but one has smaller black spots at the base of it's pectorals, making it seem as if almost the entire finlet is gold, very cool.

Too bad you're too far. I'm selling my rope cause he appears lonely and hope that some other ropefish keepers could get him some company. Oh well nice ropes there, and a BA skull!

Thanks bro, I do want just one more rope, I like odd numbers groups, so I would like 7 ropes, it's too bad youre too far.

My friend Kris got the other two ropes, so between the two of us, the LFS sold all their rope in one day.

I wanted to use that skull in the tank but the cheek bones are a hazard for the ropes and bichirs to get trapped, and I don't want to alter it, so it is just a nice hood ornament lol

dang serg , nice new pickups !

Thanks Neil! Me and Kris have been looking for more ropes for a while now.

what do you feed them? My little guy eats earthworms

I feed them mainly hikari pellets (sinking cichlid gold, and blood parrot food that's only sold in a japanese label). Occasionally, I'll give them chopped up tilapia fillet.

Nice pickup!
I'm hoping to add a few more to my trio once I upgrade the living room tank to the 75.

Cool, you're going to love them even more when you do. Ropes all cool all alone, but when there's a group of them swimming around a planted tank like yours, they just look so graceful. You should post up another update thread, I want to see the progress on your dels and ropes.
