new rose queen fry.....

i mentioned something about rose queens to a worker at a lfs about 3 weeks ago and got a call today that he got 2 in. i went up their and picked them both up for 11$ total, so i am wondering if you could determine if they are really rose queens with how young they are, about 1 inch, or will i have to just wait and see?. i have 1 and gave the other to my dad so these pics are of 1 fish only.

Could be. I've heard they look a lot like juvenile synspilum before they change color. I guess you won't really know until it puts on some size an starts changing. Looks nice though. Here's my 6" rose queen I just got the other day!

My water perfect besides about 40 ppm of nitrate, other then that i do not worry about a little algae in my fry growout tank.....

I know right!
Yea i like your rq man, and that new light really brought that pink out.

I will update when it starts to grow, even if its not a RQ i got it for 4$ so i wont be mad.
