Picked this little fella up the other day. Seems to be very active at night and calm during the daylight hours. What do y'all think, is he a keeper?
About 2" right now. Seems to be eating small cichlid pellets that make it to the bottom, but haven't witnessed anymore feeding than that. Any suggestion's on feed for this guy?
And what do you think his markings will turn out like? More rtc or tsc?

FD: Picked this little fella up the other day. Seems to be very active at night and calm during the daylight hours.
TBTB: Sounds about right.

FD: What do y'all think, is he a keeper?
TBTB: Sure... but is it not kinda late for that question? ;) The real question is whether you are his forever family? As in, can you keep him for life?

TBTB: They are pretty unfussy. I fed mine frozen-thawed sea/aquatic foods and pellets. He surprised me a few times by supplementing his diet via chomping down on tank mates.

TBTB: Looks typical to my eye. IMHO, I fail to see in general any significant variation in this hybrid's appearance to speak of.
