hi i have just bought a 6inch red tail how often do i feed him and with what? please any advice will be helpfull how often do i do water change he is in a 6ft tank with a giant gourami giraff cat tin foils

go with around a 30-40% water change depends thow watch your nitrates and see but around 40% every week should be good but it will outgrow that tank soon

JKust do a largish water change weekly and you should be set.

I do a 50% water change on all my monster tanks weekly to keep those nitrates in check.

RTC's eat just about anything they can fit in their mouths...at that age they also like to hide a lot. Try working with market shrimp...raw tuna...smelt...those are both Lucy and Houdinis favorites.

yup..i do..50% WC every week..less the nitrate concentration..
