New RTG

Since the loss of my green arowana i was going to give aros up for a while. But, i was offered a free RTG, an offer i couldn't give up. Its had an extremely rough past, lived in small tanks most of its life, been near death numerous times, fought off dropsy, beat up by other aros (in a failed aro comm), and been on hunger strikes that lasted for 1 month+.

Here he is, still in rough shape on the outside, but is recovering, been in my care for about 1 month, given lots of TLC.
Its eating steadily now, all i have to do is cure its body fungus.

where in canada can you get asian aros?

fishnutham, i;m working on fattening the guy up lol
Steve, yeah man, only a crazy guy would turn away a free RTG
Rumble, its by itself in a 55g until it heals all the way and accepts prepared foods
and Head, you can get asian aros in every large city in Canada, not sure about the smaller cities though.

Damn Street I don't know why anyone in their right mind would neglect a fish like that. I knew he would come along. What are you using to treat the body fungus?

Good pickup!! Glad to see your rehabilitating that fish...you should start an Arowana shelter...for Aros who have been neglected.
