Hello All,

I'm going to establish a new tank 480L + 120L (Sump) [126,8G + 31,7G]. I will keep Red Shoulder Severum "Rotkeil" Cichlids. As i know they are from Rio Nanay and from Amazon Basin that is located near Iquitos - Peru.

I need some ideas about compatible tank mates that lives in Peru. :)

1-I have G. brasiliensis adults in my other tank. Instead of G. Brasiliensis i can add G. Tapajos "Orange Head" or S. leucostica? - Jurupari?
2-Lemon or "Peruvian Sky Blue" tetras? When the severums will grow up, won't they eat the tetras? Any ideas?
3-I'm going to add one L282 (King galaxy cactus pleco). Will it be competible?
4-Severums are good plant eaters so will Echinodorus amazonicus, Hydrocotyle leucocephala stand?
5-Any dwarf suggestions? Bolivian ram?

Thanks for your help.

How about angels? Scalare from the Rio Nanay in Peru are some of the best looking around IMO. Many sellers list them as Peruvian Altums due to their similar appearance to true Altum angels.
