New SAL

So this past weekend I picked up my new SAL.
It's about 2ft long

He's slowly starting to settle in.
Made his home behind a piece of bogwood.

Tried feeding a small piece of fish after 24h, but it wasn't interested, chewed at it a bit.
Hopefully it won't take it too long until it starts eating.
Anything I can do to encourage it?

Well I have had my SAL for 2 months now.
And can safely say it is the best fish I have ever owned.

It has settled in well.
Eating nicely.

The only slight problem I am having is that when I feed "wet" (fish, mussel etc) it is a bit slow on the uptake
And some of the other fish in the tank (Severums, Angels, Geo's) can get to the food before him. This doesn't happen with pellets.
So I often feed in the dark, but that means I can't watch it eat properly.
