Hi everyone. I'm new to the Saltwater tank. I have 7 other freshwater tanks the smallest being a 55 gal. I just got a new 72 gal bow front and want to set it up for saltwater. I have a few Questions that I would like to ask. I know that I want to do FOWLR and was looking and doing some live rock and some unlive rock to start and just let it all become live rock. What or how much live rock should I start with? What kind of unlive rock should I use. And one more. Do you think this tank is big enough to do a pair of clown fish and a yellow watch man golby.

i would get at LEAST 10lbs of live rock. i like fiji. you can choose any rick that you like but i would stay away from lava rocks and anything that leaches into saltwater (anything w/ a metallic luster to it).
you can definately do a pair of clowns in that tank with the goby.

Try and start with at least 40 pounds. You can also buy a few pounds of live rock and seed base rock. Usually take about 2-3 weeks. However I wouldnt do that in the main tank if it already has sand as dead junk can come off rock during the curing process. As for the livestock, paired clowns can be extremely territorial. What other equipment did you plan on using?
