New Salvini

Before I get into trouble, I'm working on a pic. He/she is about 2in and is very shy.. Questions is there a way to indentify gender at this size and also I picked it up for $4. Good price?

this should tell you everthing you need to know. you should be able to sex it at 2"

the dorsal and anal fins should have fine filamented extensions growing wispy like appearances on the ends of these two fins if its a male, its he general rule of american cichlids, but does not apply to all

Thanks bumpylemon. lol. Also thanks to you CubanB for the link. I really don't know how I missed that thread?? Now that I'm sure I have a male I just need to know if I got a good deal. Hopefully I'll have a pic up this evening.
