Just set up my 75 for a SA themed tank. Got my branches from blooms and branches, what do yall think? Still need to plant it and rearrange the filters and plastic plant. But I cant figure out why it's still a little cloudy, it was clear last night.

pretty nice start, although try adding abackground. Irecommend 3d but the stick on posters on the back will do too. also add more plants. Cloudiness is normal i think?

Interesting so far. Try some floating plants to obscure the tops of the branches. Just IMO. Can scape how u like it. Could be something leaking from the wood. Would check the water quality just in case ur going thru a mini cycle or bacterial bloom.

Thank you, yeah I will be getting a background for it as soon as I have time to go to the store. I'm waiting for my LFS to restock they're plant selection before I buy some dwarf hair grass and val. I will also add floating plants as soon as they are available in my area. Also yes the tank may be going through a mini cycle, I just recently added filter media from my old tank into the tetra whisper and added both plants live and fake from my other tank. I dont think the wood is the cause of this, it is sandblasted manzanita with no additives.

I wouldnt mind any thought on how you guys wouldve scaped with these 3 branches.

looks like a bacteria bloom to me. I would check the ammonia.

Okay will do in a little while, could you define bacteria bloom to me? As in what is happening in my tank and what will it do? And how should I react?

The fish has only been in for 2 days but I cycled the tank previously for 2 weeks with used filter media and decor from an established tank. Ive been feeding the severum and he has been eating, thinking that's where the newer sudden ammonia that caused the bacteria bloom came from.
