Just bought a 40-50 gallon SeaClear acrylic tank with a built in wet/dry system for $20. I'm not too familiar with this type of system but everything looks like its there except the pump. Any help in where i could get a replacement pump and what mechanical and biological media i should use. Probably gonna use it for a fry tank. Also i can post pics if wanted to. Thx for your time

I have a seaclear tank. Never was able to find much info about this manufacturer but honestly, I never really looked that hard either, GL. If you are going to make it a fry tank, don't bother hooking up the wet/dry. Spend $9 and buy a Hydor V sponge filter, an air pump and be done. Far more efficient and you don't lose fry in the plumbing/pump etc.. Sweet deal on the tank BTW!

thx for the input :D but im not sure what im doing with it now. My friend mentioned turning it into a small reef tank with clown fish, damsels n tangs. I would love a marine tank just need to educate myself a bit more before i try it. I made a marineland powerhead fit the fittings for the pump and tested the system out and everything is all good, just need a more powerful powerhead since mine is rated for 165 gph instead of 350 gph. I might go with something more powerful and drill the holes out more, any input on this idea please feel free.

Going marine is entierly up to you and what you prefer. That's where any help I have to offer stops though. I have no advice for marine as I have no personal experience. Good luck. :)
