So I am starting a set up on a new tank and am wanting to cover the entire tank in a thick moss ground and up the sides either with moss as well or maybe a vine, I also want to be able to put a few other random plants in as well so I am looking for some advice. I was thinking about using Java moss and having a flouride with sand on top, but I wasnt sure. Any ideas?

I think you mean flourite. My opinion, java moss is more of a pest than anytthing else.I cant get rid of it.If I would have known when got it that it was going to be that evasive I wouldnt have done it.

Howdy,

I agree that Java moss can be a pest. Think well about what you want, it might come true ;) On the other hand, at one time, I could not establish Java moss in my aquarium for the life of me. In a different city, it took over my tank. It all depends on your water chemistry.

Acidburn, How are your other plants coming?
