New set up.

Hi all am in process of ordering new tank which will be 7 x 3 x 2 and going to have another underneath. Idea being big Rays on top and grow out underneath. All tanks connected on same system.

The max I can get underneath would be 5' x 34in wide x 2' due to bracing and a sump etc.

Would the smaller tank be any good as a 'time out' for a sole adult male etc for a short period of time?

Was just worried may not be big enough.

But I guess its no different from putting up a divider in main tank which would be other option.

Tank is certainly big enough for a time out, maybe even better since it is on the exact same system.

Fab, in that case is all steam ahead then

Is going to be a 7x34x2 tank underneath and 2' is going to be divided off as a k1 micro bed. Will fit about 200 l of media. Will also be a sand filter on system.

That would be more than enough for a pair of rays wouldn't it?
