Setup question for the smarter mfkers.
Setting up a small 75 uniquarium breeder tank.
I was gonna cut some marine blocks for the bottom of the back of tank sump then fill with marinepure spheres with bioballs on top. I was gonna add some bags of established marinepure spheres ontop to seed everything.
My question is can I add 100% fresh water it will be treated with prime, black water extract, discus code and almond leaves?
I want to add fish right away!
Got a pair of big yellow chubby plecos that look like there in love in there 180.

You can add the water but if it’s a black water tank then a low ph can stop the bb from working. Even kill it till low ph sensitive beneficial bacteria are able to grow. If adding then check ur water parameters frequently. How low is the ph or planned ph?

Interesting on the low ph and the bacteria. I didn't know that, something for me to research. It's only in the low 6's.
I add a lot of stuff because my tab water PH is high here in Miami and I don't use much RO at the moment.
Thanks so much for your message bro!
