So I was lucky enough to get a 75 gallon given to me for free as long as I picked it up. So I called up my buddy and we headed over. I was expecting a leaking, cracked, or destroyed tank. Luckily it still had water in it and I knew it would hold water. It was dirty but it came with the tank, glass tops, a light (getting replaced with a t5 fixture with moonlighs) a hob filter, a power head and various other supplies all for free. It was indeed dirty but nothing that can't be cleaned! Can't wait to get it running. It's will be a marine tank with a sump and maybe a fx5. I hope the pictures work but if not I will add them later.
When I got it home!
filling. My buddy was memorized by my stethoscope!
filled and 50/50 live sand added. Now the waiting game begins.
Everything has settled! time to build the sump and add bracing to the cabinet it sets on. Should have done that before hand but oh well.
