Brought this guy home from my fish club auction. Was labeled as Rotkeil. Is it?

Not pure rotkiel, 9 stress bars as opposed to the 8 of a rotkiel. Looks like sp appendiculatus, but anything with half bars and a blue face does to me. Wouldn't rule out a hybrid either.
Thanks for the input. I'm only counting eight bars though, including the one through the eye. Am I missing something?
The further one is on the tip of the tails base. This one and the one that runs basically through the gills can be difficult to spot. In this case I imagine it's the tail base one because it's basically invisible in these pics. If you look behind the bar that's solid and want to see it you will.
Ok yeAh. I wasn't counting that one right at the base of the caudal fin. It's all good. I still like the little guy. Lol
This seems to be generally right. However, I remember from the severum days that Jeff Rapps has sold wild rotkeil with 9 bars. Since it's not described, I'd be happy with anything that has a nice red wedge.
I just went back to look at some old pictures. My adult pair both had 8 bars, and the fry had 8 bars. doesnt look like the number changes
