I figured some of you guys might be interested in this.
The New England Aquarium will finally be opening its new shark and ray touch tank in a few weeks. I volunteer there so I've been lucky enough to see it in person and it looks AWESOME. The tank itself is huge with plenty of room for the inhabitants to avoid contact with visitors if they so choose, and the artwork and artificial mangroves look great. This is the official teaser video from the aquarium's website.

In addition to the animals seen in the video there are also a few yellow rays, at least one atlantic stingray, and a honeycomb whipray. Soon to be added is a group of young bonnetheads and a juvenile guitarfish. If I have some spare time on Saturday I will try and get some pictures to post here.
