As most of you know, Shipping Prices are on the rise. Starting now we will be utilizing Delta Cargo as our main Shipper. All cargo flights will go Dash and must be pre paid prior to booking the flights. Shipping cost will be a flat fee of $100 per package up to 50 lbs. We are also going to start adding a $5.00 Box fee, since I just went to buy boxes and almost had a heart attack when they told me the bill.

If Delta Cargo does not deliver to your area, we will then utilize Fedex, UPS and USPS. Fedex and UPS is more expensive than Delta Cargo and you get less fish for the cost. USPS is still the cheapest, but not the most reliable.

We will still offer live arrival on all Same day or overnight flights. If Delta Flies to your area and you refuse to use them and insist on another shipper to your door you WILL NOT get Live arrival Guarantee. Our goal is to get your fish to you alive and healthy.

Let say we send you the 100 for shipping cost. Then the package cost about $60 would you refund us the $40? or you keep it?

Just curious?

No refund on the difference. I can assure you that Dash will never be $60. Dash is a set rate no matter where I ship in the US, whereas Priority which is what I usually shipped can vary depending on destination.

The rate right now for Delta Dash is $62 up to 50 lbs and an additional $22 for the Airway Bill fee. Then you have the surcharge, taxes etc...

I just shipped a package to Detroit Dash and it cost $91. At the end of this month Delta is raising their Dash Fee again by $2. You will be looking around $95 for Dash after this month.

Dash also has it's advantages. You can pick the packages up 1 hour after landing instead of 2. The flights booked for dash are guaranteed flights, whereas priority can be bumped flights if it is full. You can pick up dash after hours and priority you have to wait the next day when they open.
 
Why do you think the rich people are rich? It's not going to change. If poor got the power they either wouldn't be poor anymore, or our society would go down the crapper. Power and money go hand in hand. That's just how it works.

BTW... Nick, I really hope that DD flies to Cedar Rapids!
