I think the use of the apostrophe may be incorrect, though English was never my strong suit. I believe it should be "fishes' ass".

Words that are pluralized with es, generally indicate possession by placing the apostrophe at the end of the word. The term fishes is used to talk about more than one species of fish at the same time. So - "My cichlid can whoop your fishes' ass."
