New shortbody/ Bonsai FH

Yeah that's very true when I first got my FH he was just over 2 Inc maybe 2.5 the change in him over the following month or so was unreal.

Yeah that’s one of the things I love most about Flowerhorns you never know what you’re getting, here’s an update on him he’s gotten abit chunky and color has improved but has grown at least an inch, definitely a shortbody Aquatic Aggression lol

Hey guys just an update about 4.5 inches now and developing a hump, very beefy and eats non stop

100% not a bonsai but this is one hell of a fish you got. Edit: he’s a short body. I just now saw the newer pictures lol. He’s stunning

Thanks yeah I was happy with the results and yeah I also agree not a bonsai but definitely a short body

Now it looks like a fat runt. SB / bonzai are visually sb their entire lives. Looks like an sb though, I bet that lower jaw protrusion gets more severe as time goes on.

The mouth being the way it was in the picture is because I just fed him a bunch to get him to come out for his photoshoot lol….
