Hi everyone.
I just picked up a baby Shovel nose cat (4") yes yes i know they get big but i couldn't resist anymore every shop i go to lately has one staring at me.
He is in my 120 with a Parrot and a Severum at the moment so he can relax and grow a bit before I put him in my 150 with the other big boys.
I will be getting my 300 gal in about 4 months then he will go in there and if he manages to outgrow that ill build him his own little retirement pond.
He was in a tank with a couple RTC x Shovel nose hybrids, luckily i paid attention when the guy got him out the tank or i could have had a real monster on my hands.
Here are a couple pics of him and as usual sorry for the crappy picks.
Oh and i saw that all of them had this pink colouring on there gills, is this normal or is it some sort of Amonnia burn or something?
Thanks allot for looking
