New Silver Arowana

I recently picked myself up a new silver arowana last monday. Its just my first time on these fishes. I bought it because my 4" vatf recently died and I was pretty depressed. My father told me to just get an arowana because he is pretty interested in arowanas. Since I'm just a beginner, I tried one. Up to now, he still isn't eating. Can't take shots because it moves too much. Can I keep it with bichirs and giant gouramis same size with it? I'm scared because my other fishes just killed my vatf.

Try to feed it live food such as bloodworm, prawns or insects. Good luck!

I'd say more like 7" or maybe a little bigger, but yeah, just wait.

As for your feeding issue, try freeze-dried bloodworms. My little aro loves them. If that doesn't work I would say try frozen bloodworms, seems like all fish like those.

I keep him alone atm. How do I feed it bloodworms? Iam trying to prevent him to look down
