New Silver on pellets, wooohooo!

After just 24hrs. from the lfs bucket to his new home, my new baby Silver Aro "Gu-Kan ll" filled his belly up with 10 food sticks from Hikari...
That makes me totally happy.
I fed him them 1 at a time till he was done eating. I tossed another 2-3 in the tank just in case.

After about 3 minutes my dang Pleco came up to the surface and started to gobble away at the sticks...Never seen that before.

It made Gu-Kan look closer at both the remaining sticks and the Pleco.
He did a tail-spash at both of them and boogied off...

Kinda wish I had a 24-7 vid-cam on this guy...he is full of suprises...

GuKan ll is about 11-12" his anal fins are long, like 2" and his pecs are thick and wide.

If you look closely in the daylight his barbels have a blue hue to them.

He struts around the tank with his fins fully erect.

I like the fact that he is always [most of the time] looking upwards. That floresent orange pngpong ball must do the trick.

I'm thinking of swapping out that sissy-fake-ass backround the "warden" installed and replace it with some dark black limo-tint on 3 sides...

As far as the pellets from Hakiri they are like 1/8" x 3/8" barrel pellets, brick colored ...sold for top feeding carnivors
