picked up this guy yesterday, he's around 3in., can anyone tell me whats a good staple for him? i've heard/read that they are veggies, but mine won't take flakes or lettuce, i'm thinking of trying the hikari african cichlid staple pellets next. anyone else have any suggestions? right now i have him with my birchir and jardi.

bloodworms or alge wafers. watch him closely, have a tendency to go on slime eating spries and a bichir is an easy target.
