new small DIY filter ( pics )

that is my new filter it is so simple cheap small

located over the tank backside ( in the corner )

they are simple 3 containers first one is sponges second one with ceramic rings third one with bio balls ..

each cont. bottom there are wholes which passes water to the next cont. and so till the third one which has w whole in the side that pure water to the tank directly ..

of course there is a power head in the tank which lefts the water to the containers ..

but i want any comments ..

so that i can know does it worth to be done or the water will flow from the sides of the containers ..

i am not gluing the containers to each other just i put them inside each other

and i depend on the water is just a small stream comes from the power head so there will be no water left in any cont.

is that idea good ??

If you are using a pump to send water up to this filter, make sure you have a pre-filter sponge or something like that to protect the impeller. You can use a floss prefilter to help polish your water.
