hey hey,

just before i went on holiday to sunny scotland, i set up a 1 foot cube tank. the original intention was to put a pair of shell dwellers in, so i currently have nicely gravelled tank, with a smidge of bogwood and no plants (yet) i also have a huge pack of escargot shells if i still wanna go for em!

then i was kinda taken by breeding fighting fish, as my g/f kep one for ages, lovely fish almost oscar like character in such a tiny fish! was great, so also kinda tempted by a crowntail or half moon betta...

so i was wondering what else is a possibility? i have 2 shrimp and an albino cory aenus (hehe anus) but they'll be getting moved back to my g/f's soon so pretty much anything could go in! only constraint is size obviously.

i was thinking of perhaps also butterfly fish, but might be a tad too big?
and : Thalassophryne amazonica, is very interesting but i think perhaps unfair to keep it in such a small tank even if they are plec style lazy!

anyway an input?

cheers!

Could get one of the more unusual bettas.
I saw a red/copper dragon halfmoon a while back on aquabid that Im still kicking myself for not getting.:headbang2

butis butis is rather an odd little fellow!
i had looked at Ctenopoma acutirostre before but would it not outgrow a 1foot cube? capacity is roughly.. 5.9 gallons.. about 27 litres im guessing for a 6inch fish thats a bit cramped!
but cool micro predators.. specially liking Ctenopoma very fun. lovin' the perch family fish.
