I was at the LFS I had gotten my WAL from and saw they had another in (nearly a year later). This new guy had been beat up by a tankmate, who had since been removed, and wasn't looking the best. He was missing most of his pelvic fins and a decent portion of his pectorals, along with some of his tail and a nice lump on his snout. I did not pay full price for him, the owner is a really good guy and wanted him to go to a good home and heal up. I've had him for a few weeks and he's really coming along well in terms of regrowth and is starting to learn to take food from people. Right now I don't have plans to keep him permanently because I already have a WAL and I was looking to add a SAL to my lung collection instead of another WAL, but I can house him if I can't find a suitable home. He's pretty small, around 6-7 inches, and is pretty cute honestly.
Here are a few from the day I brought him home:
You can see the injuries pretty clearly, and the odd bump on his nose.
Here are some pictures form a few days back.

I have to begin to spruce up his temp home since I was keeping it sparse while I observed him for the first few weeks. Here's a comparison of him vs. my older WAL.

Thanks for looking! If anyone wants to adopt the new guy let me know.
