New snakehead, supposed to be a blue galaxy

But again im not sure. He is about 8". Was sold as a blue galaxy but now sure as I thought they never had the red on.

It's not a C. Stewartii variant; it's a C. Gachua of sorts.
Do you know where it's from? It almost looks like C. Sp. Laos Flameback.

I have a Blue Galaxy and it has no red...

( i think i do have a blue galaxy ...)

I agree, looks a bit like fireback (broad red rim). for sure something gachua/limbata

+1 , not a blue galexy , not in the stewerti complex.

My guess is something in the gachua complex , looks alot like Sp. Redfin except i dont see the black speckeling that redfin typically display. That could be stress though hiding true pattern.

Either way nice specimen!

Yeah I definatly knew he wasnt a blue galaxy as they dont have the red. He is very different to my other snakehead.
