Regarding cichla. What is the new import laws on peacock bass? What can we expect to see and what not to see anymore? I noticed intermedias are cheaper them xingus. Aren't the intermedia's newer to the cichla world? I been out the game for a few years and a lot has changed.

From what I was told curtain areas are easier to export out of then others. In most areas in SA for cichla to be exported they must each have a permit stating that they are farm or captive breed and seller needs sign off on each fish. Now whether or not the fish are captive or wild and the seller willing to sign off on the permit is another story.

Hopefully there won't be any big deal is SA and we continue to get cichla imported. I never been a person who prefers WC over farm raised etc. As long as the fish looks good haha. Hopefully prices won't rise.

I've also noticed the price of Xingus getting kinda high and intermedia getting lower and lower
