I rescued a big albino oscar who had hole-in-head disease a bit over a month ago. He's healed up and looking healthy but pretty scarred. Nobody wants a banged up Oscar so I decided to keep him. He's in a 55 by himself right now eating only silversides, thawed shrimp and night crawlers every 3 days.

I purchased a baby 1.5" Green Terror over the weekend. He's in a 29 gallon being fed Jaguar cichlid fry daily. My plan is to get the terror up in size and find a 125 or 150 gallon tank they can share. It will be a while before the terror is no longer bite size but I have time. Here are pictures of both of them.

nice! but i would feed the terror more veggies and not just jag fry, these guys need a higher veggie diet than protein or will get stomach problems (i.e. bacterial infections) at least that has been my experience and a lot of people on here supplement their terrors with veggies as well

Thanks for the veggie suggestion, I'll incorporate some of the herbivore pellets I feed my Africans.

Dave,

I'm always sitting on a few hundred fry, I have some business in Boston late January / early Feb if you want to connect.

Good save. it takes a long time for the holes to fill in when they are deep. Give him a year and he should look good as new.

Oscar looks pretty good all things considered. He's obviously much better off than he was before. :)
