Hello!

I got my first tarantula, it's a Brazilian black and white. (acanthoscurria brocklehursti)

Here is a pick. I fed it a few hours after getting it home, and it devoured a cricket. These guys have fast metabolisms so I'm gonna do twice a week feedings + I want it to Gro-HOOoowW

Anywho, the guy said it should be fine in the container it came in for the next two molts, then i've got a 2.5 gallon ready for it. then eventually when it's huge i'll up it to a 10. soon hopefully I can moniter it's feeding more easily.

I'm definitely going to be needing more soon. efff.

nice T. Ive never been much of a bug guy (im scared s***less of most bugs), but I have to admit T's are cool.

Ts are adicting and it doesnt stop until you got at least the top 5 or so,so get one and see what happens,lol.

I'm already addicted. lol.

I got this guy for 40 bucks, which I thought was a pretty good price.
I might try something arboreal after I've had this one a year or two.

I'll try to get a video of feeding it, the next time feeding time comes around.
