New Spotted Clown Loach

I saw this guy today at a LFS so I had to pick him up. He's about 2" but with his pattern I figured he was worth $16.

Thats awesome. Yea, i too have started picking up odd ball loaches. Last weekend I sat at one tank at my LFS fishing thru all 50 of the babies. Brought home the 7 that were odd balls with spots and puzzle pieces and missing stripes. Awesome!

I'm not happy with what I have to pay for larger loaches around here but No one is really selling any privately though either. but I'm either selective on the patterns or the size.

I did get a 4"er for $10 a few weeks ago. but that was chance.

this is only the second spotted loach I have seen. and both were at the same store. I would like to find more but it takes time around here. they are either to small or to high priced.

Nice pickup. Been looking for a spotted one. Have one with missing stripe and two with 4 stripes. Is having 4 stripes really an oddity?
