New Spotted Gars

So i am excited to announce that I am ordering 2 8-9" spotted gars on friday. They will be shipped to me on monday so should have them on Tuesday. These guys are already on frozen Krill. Really excited, any advice for me? Will post pics as soon as I get them in.

I am sad to report that both fish have passed away. I was ordering from a person that I have previously done business with who is a discus breeder. He happened to know someone that had 2. The fish passed in the quarantine tank. We suspect that the tank might have been to warm. There was no other signs of illness. My search for my gars continue.

Excited to announce that I have found a couple spotteds local. They are 12" and 14" eating frozen krill. Picking them up next weekend.
