Well I just got a stand for my new acrylic.(new to me) The only problem is it will have a slight overhang in the back of the tank. The stand is 22 inches deep and the tank is 23 inches. I would prefer to use the stand as is and not put an additional board on top of it but what do ya'll think? Will it be okay or should I get some wood to extend/re-top the table?

What are the dimensions and size of the tank? I would rather be safe than sorry, but if its not a huge tank, maybe its not a huge prob. pic is hard to judge the size of the tank

Its approximately 70 gallons including the built in sump. I went ahead and made a trip to lowes. The new top is drying after its first coat of stain. I should have it moved into the house by tomorrow. I've got mechanical pads and scrubbies so far in the sump. I don't really know what else to add if anything. Stock list is 1 fugu puffer for now. any advice anyone cares to offer would be appreciated.
Oh and the only 2 pumps I have on hand for the sump are 500 gph and 1800gph, I know the 1800 is a tad bit excessive but is the 500 enough flow? will it work for awhile or should I go ahead and order something a little stronger?
