Well one night I was watching my fish, and as I was going to turn off the light for the night it goes out with out me even touching it.. Well I'm not sure what it could be but I'm thinking the starter. But I have no clue how to take it out to switch it with a different one. But If its not the starter any clues on what it could be would be awesome!
Thanks much.

It could be the starter. On normal florescent strips they are normally easily accessible and just twist out. Most fish stores should carry replacements. Might also be the bulb or even the ballast though

first thing is to change the bulb. it's most likely dead. second it shouldn't be the starter/fuse since the light only uses it to turn on. if it's not the bulb then you have a short some place. just bring the whole light to a petstore and see if they will help fix it. most will

The first thing i did was change the bulb. Now it just doesn't want to go on. But thanks! Maybe I'll bring it to someone who knows something about ghosts or lights lol. Thanks!

I know about ghosts not about starters though since I couldn't pull the thing out!! Feel my pain and know how expensive the hobby is! Buy me a fish?
