Reminds me of the Blue Ring Octopus with that unique pattern.

On a serious note... the picture of the baby blue motoro on the thread about stingray profiles... is it not maybe an adult of that variant or something around those lines?

The thing I notice is the tail seems different than a typical motoro variant

That's the first thing I thought about too MariaS the tail has me wondering...something different about that tail

Yes... I hear you.. also noticed it appears to sit or start very high up on the body and the spikes look quite long .. but I was also thinking that maybe the way she is laying could give that impression...

I would like to see more pictures though.. would be interesting..
