Hey I have a 75Gallon Long with a 5inch Armatus in it (don't worry he'll be going in a bigger tank by December). This guy is vicious but usually hides in a cave and it makes the tank look empty. Is there any mid aquarium swimming fish that I can put in there that will not get eaten and also look "cool" (colors, scary face..anything). Also a fish that can keep up with in size with the Armatus.
 
They grow really fast and by dec i wouldnt be surprised if he was close to 9 inches .... personally i wouldnt add anything else in the tank due to space and bioload.... try to get him in a bigger tank sooner if possible .... just my 2 cents

If I could he would be in the 300gallon now but I just need him to get large enough for the other fish in the 300. I have a large florida gar and a endi Bichir that could swallow him up right now.
 
I feel ya .... im putting my 3 armies in a 65 grow out for a couple months before adding to my 210....... how big is the gar and bichir?
