i have this listed in another thread but wanted to start a new one to see what you guys think. my dovii pair is going to BigTrain this weekend and this is what i plan to keep in my 75g

1 female con,
1 albino senegalus,
4 clown loaches,
1 siamese algae eater,
1 stripped rafael catfish,
6 T-bars (getting from Big Train)

plan to add a small school of barbs or something like that and a couple sevs, maybe a few gouramis down the road also. only plan on keeping the 2-3 best tbars btw.

would you add anything to this stock list?

sajica are very nice!!!! you will enjoy them :headbang2

but lose the female con.... they will cross breed

i think i will and it will be nice to get away from the aggressive guys for a little while and not have to worry about fighting and killing so much.

what would you suggest to have as tank mates for them? are sevs ok. maybe kribs or acara's? looking for some nice color and not allot of digging or aggression.

Are the T-bars datnoids? As in thin bars? If so I would loose them. With them gone I think it is doable at least for some time. The clown loaches may eventually require you to upgrade but they are slow growers.

they don't look that good (sajica x con)

you could keep sevs, FM, blue acara, or any other medium sized non aggro Cichlids

no he is talking about sajica.

and it would take the clown l. 6-8 years to out grow that tank

well i might boot the con. right now i have them as a breeding pair but would like to only keep the female. and i will more than likely add a rotkeil and blue acara. i am going to take my time deciding. there is a breeding pair of acara at a LFS so they are always easy to pick up. the rotkeil are harder to find.

i am also getting some GT fry from a Silver saum/Glod saum pair to grow out!!! they will be in their own tank.
