Hey MFK so today did a huge fish marathon and restock with a 5 inch Hybrid JD/??? my old red devil who was still at the store i donated too which is awesome cuz he was a great looking RD i donated him at 1.1/2 inch and picked him back up at 7 inches. Feels good to be reunited!!

Oh and ya i have a 1 1/2 inch convict in there...

Agreed on the stock part but ive come to a point where im goin to college soon and i really need save up extra cash so imma leave stock as is unless war breaks out....so ya...hopefully this is my last stock untill after college

Really? Maybe....the store owner sold me him and he told me they were hybrids and checked the price down cuz they were. But hey he could be wrong! Il look into texas cichlids

The first one is a pure tex the second is a Jd/tex cross.....see the bars in the 2nd pic? my fish has them too...thus the belief of a jdtex hybrid

Its doesn't look jd to me. The hybrid pic has jd stress bars and yours has Texas stress bars. Also yours would have some jd features that I don't see. Look at the hybrid pic closer. The body shape and look is Texas with jd spangles and stress bars.
