I'm taking my fish keeping in a new direction. Plan on emptying the 125 community and starting over. I plan on getting 6-8 A. Lyonsi for an eventual breding pair and centerpiece. Also going for swordtails, and gonna try for a breeding pair of rainbows. All that said I'm looking for a solid online vendor for the swordtail. As always advice, and input always much appreciated.

For large wild type livebarers check out aquabid. There are other venders that have a great selection like Sellect aquatics and Swsmp River Aquatics.
It amazes me that most LFS only carry hybrids. They are often much smaller and even in some cases less attractive. Some wild type mollies get to be about 6" where as most hybrids barely make it to 3".
One day I will stock w/ wild type livebarers. I would be fine w/ my cichlids, but not my astyanax bimaculatus. Even 3" mollies would become a meal.

125 Gallon for a breeding pair of Lyonsi is gonna be kinda tight. All of those fish in a 125, breeding....need a bigger tank.....or at least more tanks.

My old male was about 10/11 inch and built like a tank, and the pair would have killed anything in the tank (180 gal) with them during spawning,
