So, a pet store that my husband's friend owned that was going down hill quickly was recently bought. In a short amount of time the new owner has taken what was, well, a horrible store and done major reconstruction and turned it around into an awesome place to check out.
He's got a fantastic selection of Freshwater and Saltwater fish, Freshwater and Saltwater invertebrates (though, his crayfish were mislabeled but I think only I'd ever notice that), a large selection of birds, small animals, mammals and reptiles. And the reptiles he brings in are pretty cool, he's got your basic stock that you can find at the big box retailers but he's bringing in a lot of unique morphs and species, too. And the prices are pretty good for most things. He's got a fairly interesting selection of feeders, too, so it's nice being able to pick up some things I'd normally only get at expos.
The store is still undergoing construction and stock filling, but if you're in the area check them out. Never know who's looking for stores, so just thought I'd mention it.
