Majority of my fish look washed out in my 600 gallon pentair tank with torpedo beach sand. There is prob only about 100 lbs of sand in the tank so barely any to cover the bottom. I was originally planing to add more torpedo beach but have decided to try to mix another sand of same size from caribsea in order to help bring the colors of the peacock bass out.
I would prob add another 100 lbs to even it out
Any suggestions as to what caribsea sand you guys think would mix in well with torpedo beach.
The interior of the tank is blue.
Looking for caribsea sand that is around the same size......i wouldnt want it to be too big that the rays couldnt sift through and too fine where powerheads/flow could move it easily and get caught in pumps etc
