Just got this baby in place and filled up yesterday. Its gonna be a low tech tank run on soil and sunlight, no filtration and room temperature (21C). I got a hold of alot of plants and I guess I'll have to play the waiting game to see what happens with the water parameters.

... but I cant figure out what to put in it. Its 62cm wide, 67cm deep and 120cm tall. Sorry about the crappy picture, but the soil is all messy since I had to plant with a stick (gonna level it with gravel when the plants are rooted) and there's alot of bubbles still from the new water.

Yes I think I will get some sort of alge eater in there, if only to handle the left over food. I would need something with a very low bioload tho. As I understand it, plecos in general does alot of nr 2?

First inhabitant - Helena snail (spotted a ramshorn who tagged along with the plants)

Angels need warmer water tho, which will result in vaporization so I need to find some interesting "cold water"fish for both bottom, middle and top level swimming. My thought so far is a few concolour Macropod fish

zebra danios do well in lots of conditions...
