Hi all, first time poster, long time lurker. I just purchased a 37 gal standard and am planning on setting up a German blue ram tank. Here is what I'm thinking:

1 female, 1 male GBR
6 rummy nose tetras
12 cardinal tetras
1 pleco
1/2 Cory's

What I have:
37 gal standard
150gph marineland? Filter
Medium natural gravel (pretty course)
All RO water

Was thinking about doing peet additions, but I'm not sure how. I know I need to acidify my tank.

I was wondering what you thought about my tank mates, gravel choice and tank setup (see pics). Also, any tips for keeping these fish would be much appreciated. Cheers!

I could say careful with the 'spiky' plants.. when I first started with tetras back then they have the tendency to get stuck between the leaves and die.. that's my 1st hand experience anyways. Hopefully more will give u advices that u need.. ;)

I like the set up looks nice. I would a lot of cories at least 9 to 10. I personally prefer Bolivian rams over German because they are a little hardier but to each there own. Cant wait to see it all set up

I heard GBRs can rip up Cory's if they feel bothered (being on the bottom and all) I think 9 to 10 Cory's would turn into a blood bath. Btw I was also thinking 5-10 marble hatchets to fill up the top.
