New tank and member

To start off I have had a 29gal freshwater tank for a couple of years now. I have had several different fish and have lost a few but have had 2 angels ever since I established the tank. I am looking at upgrading my tank and had a hard time deciding between another freshwater tank or going with a used 29gal saltwater. I have found a used 60gal I am supposed to get today or tomorrow and was going to move my 2 angels into the tank after running it for a while but after I get it established I would like to get a couple of discus. I know they like large numbers but I would like to get a breeding pair, maybe 3. I am used to doing 20% water changes a week but have read a ton of different opinions. Some do 20% a day and others do 20% a week with no problems. Right now I am debating on having my 2 angels, several discus, my sucker fish and possibly a few others. Does that sound like a decent set up? I am also considering drift wood and doing a few live plants and some plastics. I know nothing about the live ones so can you give some tips on the types to get for my tank? Any opinions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
