New Tank / Bichirs

Just finished building a stand for my new 60g. Thought I post some pics for you guys! Also tell me what you think it's my first stand I've made.
And the very last picture is a fish from one of my neighbors tanks, hes getting rid of it so he asked me to take, told him it probably would get eaten but he was fine with that. My main question is why haven't my bichirs or rope fish even bother to look at him? Even the Leaf Fish isn't bothered and that thing has killed two fish already...

Hes actually a Blue Crayfish, he stays in a plastic container in the tank he was out for he photo shoot.

Thanks, It's just a simple stand wasn't planning on having to tell anyone but I just assambled the "Box" I guess you could call it and the inside is hallow on mine. I have multiple support beams in the middle and going across the top to hold the tank.

The crayfish is in a plastic container inside the tank to protect him til he gets bigger. The barb on the other hand was kinda meant to be a snack to the bichirs or rope fish. MY question is how come the bichirs and the rope fish don't even give a ..... about him?
