ok im going to be building a plywood tank i came accross some stuff wondering if it would work i see all the post on the liquid rubber stuff. this is basacly the same stuff for half the price give me your point of view on it.

I would say don't use is its not ment for this prupose

im wondering though is after its cured if it would be ok cause epoxy they use aint safe when its not cure kinda makes ya wonder

I looked at that stuff when I was trying to figure out how to seal the viewing window on my build and stayed away from it.....I dont remember why but I read something on the label that lead me to believe it was not to be used.

In the description I read penetrating oil. That would lead me to believe it is asphalt based. Not fish safe. Use Liquid Rubber if you are set on a rubber based sealer, or one of the aquaculture epoxies like Sweetwater.

Has anyone ever tried or come up with the reasons not to use liquid latex? (like for body painting or masks)

Many people have a reaction to latex, I would think (not an expert) that there are chemicals in latex that would leech into the tank, I know I get a rash when I wear latex gloves (non powdered) at work so I have to wear cotton liners under the latex gloves.

ok thanks guys i think im going to try the hole drylok thing but i have another post asking about what to use to put the 1/2'' acrylic in i was told silacone dont stick to well to the acrylic any advise
