I got a 100 gallon acrylic tank awhile back and had it in storage.I retrieved it yesterday but had a little mishap. There was a hinge on top of it for a plastic lid that attaches to it and I hit it loading it into my truck and knocked it off. There is a slight chip in the top panel now and a small crack extending to the back panel. Here is a pic of the damage i took while test filling it.Is it repairable? Can I sandwich acrylic pieces on top and under it to reinforce it?

I would glue small pieces over the cracks just for insurance, and good nite sleep.
Since its at the top, there isnt the pressure like near the bottom. Still, I would rather be safe than mopping.

I agree with the above. I doubt it's anything to worry about, but it's easy to fix and get some peace of mind.
