Chipped my tank when moving it. It is a 8x2.5x2 with 12ml glass.

Picks are below, will it still hold water?

in my opinion it will hold but there is truly only one way to find out and thats filling it if youre skeptical fill it in increments just in case good luck

Mine is a lot worse than this and it still holds water (had it for 3 months so far ;))
If you want i can post some pics of the damage of mine so you can see?

that "should" hold.. I've had 2 tanks that were worse chipped and they held up!

OK thanks, I'm just worried about the position of it. It's right at the joint at the bottom, not sure about the pressure. I will try to fill it slowly.

I just finished the first cleaning, it was that caked up with dust, leaves, and bird crap. I'm going to give it another wipe down but with hot water this time, then hose it, drain, then another wipe down. Do you think that will do? Then onto the painting...

Yea should be fine, i filled mine up in the garden on the grass first to make sure it would hold, if it doesn't can you tell the guy and get a refund? I doubt it but did he know it was cracked/chipped?
