New tank deal

I have an opportunity to bey a 110 g. tall tank, for 480 dollors. This includes hood and stand. Is this a good deal? If it is I'm going to buy it. Thanks for your help

We just picked up a 160 with VHO's canopy and stand with 2 heavy duty heaters, 2 emperor 400's and around 200 lb of lace rock for $400.

You could do better but you could do much worse.. There is currently a 120 down the street with hood and stand for 200.. But i'm in Utah:)
 
Any idea on some websites that have good deals? I want to upgrade from my 30. I got a pleco that's feeling some growing pains, and he needs a bigger tank. I'm going to get one this summer regardless. I just want to get the most bang for my buck. Thanks again for the help.
 
check garage sales, and your local paper:)

I've found a few deals that way.
 
that's a bad deal imo, there are some great deals on the buy/sell right here from time to time
